The Hugglemonster family

Ten monsters make up the Henry Hugglemonster crochet doll set: Henry, Summer, Cobby, Momma, Dado, Gertie, Grando, Estelle, Denzel and Ivor.

Monsters are freeing to crochet. Nothing has to look human, so the shapes can be rounder, the limbs shorter and the colours brighter than anything in the princess sets. Horns, spots and odd ears are worked as separate pieces and joined, which is how each family member ends up genuinely different rather than recoloured.

A family set for a family

This one gets ordered as a group more than most — a parent doll and a child doll together, or the whole household for a nursery shelf. It is also a good set for toddlers: no small parts, no hard edges.
