Nine from Auradon and Wonderland

The Descendants Wicked Wonderland crochet doll set mixes two casts: Mal, Evie, Red, Chloe, Queen Of Heart, Max Hatter, Cinderella, Pink and Luis Madrigal.

The palette here is louder than the studio's usual work — purples against teals, red against black and white. Villain-kid styling means asymmetry: one sleeve different from the other, a hem cut on an angle, hair in two colours. All of that has to be worked in as it goes rather than added at the end.

Teen shelves, not nursery shelves

This set sells to an older audience than most of the studio's dolls, and it tends to be ordered in the larger sizes where the costume detail actually shows.
